I’ve tried a number of south Whidbey auto shops. So far, Matt’s is my favorite. We first took in my wife’s Subaru for an oil change. They were very accommodating, offered to arrange a Saturday pick-up, and their communication was excellent. I really loved the text updates and the thorough list that was provided. A silver lining of the covid-19 outbreak is that they opened their doors to domestic vehicles. I took my Ford Transit Connect in for its oil change and found the same quality of service and communication. I really appreciate having the list of things to watch and think about for upcoming maintenance. And really positive people! Both workers I talked to were patient and positive. They also have good systems in place to keep contact at a minimum and sanitizing the cars after work is performed. I’ll be back again so long as they keep servicing domestic cars.

Matt’s Import Haven is simply the best place to take your car, if it needs service. They are kind, fair, fast, and straight-forward. No need to worry about the mechanic telling you that you need all this extra work. They don’t do that. They are fair. If you have been looking for “your” mechanic, Matt’s is it!

We appreciate the expert car care and professionalism of the entire Matt’s team. The front office staff is friendly, accommodating and efficient. Recently, we scheduled a specific service on a Monday, and over the weekend our “maintenance required” panel light popped on. Even though Matt’s is closed on weekends, we texted to hopefully add an oil change at the last minute. Matt called us right back to confirm that he could add an oil change to their tightly scheduled Monday workload. What great service! We are so delighted to have such a reliable and professional auto mechanic in our community on South Whidbey Island. ❤️

This is the best place on earth for getting your car serviced. I have come to Matt's Auto for three years now and have had nothing but excellent AND affordable service for my BMW. In fact this happens to be my FIRST experience with BMW car service that is actually honest. The whole staff here is knowledgable and helpful. And the kindness and understanding for individual customers is unique. I highly recommend this business....

Should have a choice of 6 stars! Excellent service. Price of repairs reasonable. Professionalism A+. My truck was ready when they said it would be. And, during COVID-19, they implemented protocols for my safety and theirs.
