I go out of my way to take my car to Matt’s because of their excellent service. The communication is clear and prompt. Everyone I’ve dealt with - from the office to the shop - has interacted with me intelligently and respectfully. They are transparent in their dealings. They keep you informed, don’t make assumptions, explain your choices and don’t do more than is necessary. They help you track potential issues and provide you with excellent documentation, both electronically and in hard copy. By all evidence and appearances they run a tight, clean, well organized business with customer service - both mechanical and interpersonal - as their mutual focus. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have known Matt since moving to Whidbey in 1989, and I have always trusted him to work on my vehicles. He and his staff are professional, thorough and courteous. The bigger reason I let him and his crew work on my cars is because I believe he truly cares about his customers. It speaks volumes that he’s been in business for about 40 years!

Took care of my dead battery on short notice, gave me a loaner battery while they performed diagnostic test and charge on mine. Very friendly and got the job done.

First visit to Matt's for routine maintenance on my Toyota FJ Cruiser. Impressed! They will definitely be my go-to now. Pointed out some things that didn't need doing and saved me some money. Also pointed out some things that need to be watched and that will save me some unpleasant surprises in the future.

Matt's Import Haven has been my go-to place for my cars for 20 years. Service is great and prices are no higher than elsewhere. And the people there are super friendly.

Used Matt’s Auto Haven for the very first time. I have a hybrid car and have been looking for someone on Whidbey I can trust. I got an oil change, tire rotation and they did a full check up on my car-plus gave me information for my next 60,000 mile service. Excellent customer service. So happy to find a mechanic I can trust!

I called in to for a required vehicle service. Time was tight - family was heading out on a mid-state trip. Mark G arranged that he would stay an evening and work on our car. We did not ask for this special arrangement. Because of this it was discovered a few components were in dire need of replacement. Nobody ever knows, but this could have been a bad situation if we did not have this taken care of. We have worked with Matt's for 10 years. Quality people, service, quality family.

Erick we are so very glad that we could make it work to get your 2009 Honda Ridgeline in before your road trip. Mark is a great technician who goes the extra mile.
